Objectives:
- Educational workshop designed to help couples improve their friendship and conflict management skills.
- This workshop is NOT group psychotherapy. Personal issues or situations of the couple WILL NOT be shared in the workshop.
Structure:
- This workshop is appropriate for married (whether newlyweds or married for decades), engaged, contemplating engagement/serious dating.
- This workshop may be conducted at the request of an individual, couple or organization at their venue.
- This workshop IS NOT appropriate for those (whether one or both mates) with severe relationship distress, significant emotional or physical abuse, serious emotional or mental health problems, relationships where one or both partners are actively addicted to drugs or alcohol, relationships with serious compulsive behavior with gambling, sexual acting out, and other disruptive behaviors.
